Jordan Levi North was brought into the world on 14 February 1990 in York, North Yorkshire to Graham and Wendy North. Then moving to the Preston region, North continued with his schooling at Penwortham Convent Institute and afterward Preston’s School.
He was introduced to a military family, his dad Graham who served in the Queen’s Lancashire Regiment from 1982 to 2006, and his sibling Ryan who serves in 2 PARA are among nine close relatives who have worked in the military.

Jordan North has had an exciting career in media and entertainment. It all started when he was at university. He worked for Spark FM and won a radio show competition on The Hits Radio. He also worked for other radio stations, including Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Preston FM.
Jordan’s big break occurred when he began working for BBC Radio 1. He began as a fill-in presenter and eventually earned his own show on Sunday mornings. In 2020, he became a regular weekend host on BBC Radio One.
