What is Falconfan about?

Within the Star Wars universe, a fictitious starship called the Millennium Falcon exists. Joe Johnston created the design for the 1977 film Star Wars. Since then, it has been featured in several films and television shows.

The Falcon also makes appearances in a number of Star Wars spin-off media, such as novels, comic books, and video games. The titular ship is the subject of James Luceno’s novel Millennium Falcon.

Formerly owned by gambler and con artist Lando Calrissian, the ship is a YT-1300 Corellian light freighter and is primarily commanded by smuggler Han Solo and his Wookiee first mate, Chewbacca.

Despite its run-down appearance and lowly beginnings, the Millennium Falcon is said to be among the fastest ships in the Star Wars canon.
